Building Allyship Community Breathwork Session

Hosted by Building Allyship with Dr. Jpop + Jasmine Rae Stromburg

A Donation-Based Breathwork Session

When? Monday November 27th @ 7:00 CST/8:00 EST

The desire to show up in allyship with others can be overwhelming in times like the ones we are experiencing. You are trying to stay informed but you recognize that being aware of all the devastation, loss, and death takes a toll on your own mental health. However the privilege of being able to “just take a break” from all that is happening brings a guilt that either makes you doom scroll or avoid taking information in altogether.

If any of the above rings true, or you just feel you need some grounding to continue your allyship journey, please join the Building Allyship Community in a virtual, donation-only Breathwork Session with Dr. Jpop and Dr. Jasmine Rae Stromburg on Monday, November 27th at 8:00pm EST. ALL donations received will be given to World Central Kitchen.

Dr. Jennifer Hutton is a pediatric physical therapist and educator from Nashville, TN. She received her undergraduate degree in 2005 from Oakwood University - an HBCU in northern Alabama - and her graduate degree from Loma Linda University in 2008.

As a Black woman that was born and raised in the south, Dr. Hutton knows what it is like to be in need of advocates in different spaces, and those experiences helped inspire her quest to show up for others. Working with children from marginalized communities allowed Dr. Hutton to see the existing health and healthcare access disparities and sparked her desire to be an advocate inside and outside the clinic.

Dr. Hutton is the creator of  Building Allyship, a membership community where healthcare and wellness professionals are given the space and tools to learn what true allyship looks like. Through focus groups, curated reading, workshops, and strategy sessions, Building Allyship provides space for accountability, and constructive challenging of ideas, and helps others strengthen their voice and stance as advocates in their own communities.

Jennifer is the host of Beyond Allyship with Dr. Jpop; a podcast that helps humans shift their understanding of what it means to show up in allyship for marginalized communities. She explores topics that will help listeners become better informed of societal inequities and their origins, examine their individual beliefs and intentions, and gain resources and action steps to help allyship become a way of life, not just a title.

Jasmine Rae Stromberg is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Happiness/Success Mindset Coach & Certified Breathwork Facilitator.

Jasmine became a Certified Transformational Revelation Breathwork Facilitator in August of 2020, after experiencing what a powerful healing practice it was for her, as it served as a practice to help process heart wrenching world events, personal experiences & emotions. This allowed her to continue to show up daily and do the work she knew her soul was/is meant to do during this time. She enjoys cultivating space and leading this experience for others to do the same.

Jasmine was also certified in Neuro-linguistic Programing, Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as Tapping) and Hypnosis in 2021. She utilizes a combination of these modalities within her breathwork sessions to help maximize participants processing experience.
